This National Historic Landmark is a treasured community icon which has evolved via mumerous renovations and additions in its 170 year history. The stately Georgian mansion once presided over a 2,000 acre plantation. Over time the main house has served many purposes including meeting place for a gentleman's hunt and race club, and as a barn for storing crops. After years of disreapair it has been newly restored as a private residence and boasts a 21st century addition, respectful of the home's architectural heritage.
